It’s gorgeously sunny as I sit in the garden typing this with my camera, music and sound of the waves and cars surrounding me.It’s pretty incredible but the garden could do with a bit of TLC, wood from the kitchen and old decking are leaned up against the walls as the landlord has been yet unable to burn/ get rid and I sit here feeling inspired to make this a lovely place to invite friends over for drinks and such. So I have decided to put together a post on a few things that are on my to buy list or even just an idea wishlist of how I could make it look good.
Recently I have been decorating our little house, concentrating on my office space and the lounge and because I just love plants a succulent garden/terrarium was a must for my office space. I show you in easy steps what you need and how to make a unique succulent terrarium in your home.

The lovely people at Litecraft wanted to send me a new desk lamp from their range for my new blog/office room and I thought what better way to show it off than teaching you lot how to create the typical blogger aesthetic desk space.

So I stopped blogging, although mostly just social media for a couple of months. A few blog posts were already scheduled and one I had to write up because I had already agreed to post it, so you may not have noticed via here, but on social media, I totally dropped off. So when I decided to kick back into it as I was missing writing, the friends/ people and adventures I got through it, I drafted up some new posts and read a post here from Makeup Savvy on why you should update your old blog posts.
We’ve all been there. You’re all dressed up, looking pretty, feeling fabulous and just as you’re about to leave your house, you take that one snap of yourself, so you can secretly admire how amazing you are later. But all that goes away when you actually look at the picture. It just doesn’t look right. You try different poses, tilt your head from side to side, and after twenty shots, you just give up. You still look great in the mirror, that’s what counts.
So true, but then, there are situations when you’re going somewhere where you’ll be photographed, like dinner parties, birthdays, celebrations of all kinds, and you want to look nice in those pictures. Because you’ll inevitably show up somewhere on the internet, or you yourself would like to post a nice picture. Photography makeup is a form of art for itself, but with clothes it’s a little different – and easier, thank God! You don’t have to go overboard and change your personal style for the sake of a simple photoshoot, just keep in mind these few tips the next time you dress for the camera.
Happiness isn’t something you can actually measure as it is different for everyone, for some it may be the love of a pet, a big family of their own, the job goal they finally achieved, a home they are proud to call their own or even just laughing with great friends. Only you can really determine what makes you happy and how to get you there. But there are some proven ways that can improve happiness.
If you don’t know already that I run @WelshBigEvents then where have you been? But if you are new and intrigued, on what it takes to actually host and organise a successful blogger event then hello! Welcome new friends and old, today just before I started typing this up I was catching up (late to the game I know) on the #GirlBoss podcast on Spotify. So I am feeling quite inspired and productive at the moment! (Let’s see how long this lasts hey?!) This is a great podcast if you just want to listen to some women, talk about how they made it from nothing, right up to owning a successful profitable business.
Hey, if you don’t know me well enough by now then you have a lot to learn! I’m bloody crazy, absolutely bonkers in all honesty.
I’ve worked since I left college back in 2012. But joined this full-time administration job in august 2013. For about 2 years I rolled on by surviving as you do, wishing to be a successful blogger and YouTuber, but not really knowing how or even knowing where to start. I was naive in thinking it fell into your lap if you took a couple of photos and linked a few websites the followers would fall in and the opportunities.
Back in January 2015 I ended it with my boyfriend, moved back home to my mums and packed all my belongings away that I couldn’t fit in my shared room with my sis.
As of yesterday I have owned my car for a year! Well, I say owned I still have 3 years left to pay on it. But once that’s paid its all mine to do as I please with.
My car is a Peugeot 208 – 32plate which means it was made in 2012. The first owner never had it serviced in the time he owned it, which really irritates me. Why would someone pay all that money for a car, because it must have been a good 12/13K back in the day with all its features, to not take care of it?
