At this precise moment I am 22, in fact, I will be 22 for another 5 days as I am writing this on Sunday the 23rd of April. I thought I’d write a little post on how my life has turned out already (ha!) what I hoped to achieve, what I hope to achieve in the future and why the bloody hell I now feel a hell of a lot older than I did 4 months ago!
So 2016 had not been a great year for the world, but I made the decision to forget about the world for my own selfish reasons. The world is going to run whether I dislike what has happened or not.
So for me the year has been a mix of very odd ups and downs – I’ve gone through phases of over productiveness which have brought on stress anxiety attacks and then I have boring I’m so lazy I’ve watched nearly an entire season on Netflix of something in one whole day. (who else is with me on this?)
So I wear lipstick or some kind of lip colouring product every day that I leave the house, and I reapply throughout the day and yes, it dries out my lips. Every night I used to apply faithful vaseline in hope it would work… it would for the morning, reapply lipstick and by lunch time, lipstick has worn off and hello dry lips with a little crack that I can’t help but bite off, leaving my poor lips bleeding a little till… I reapply with lippy again!
At last, I have a found a product that pretty much lasts hydration wise all day with the right application and setting time used. That’s sometimes our problem isn’t it girls, not enough time to let that moisturiser soak in and foundation sit nicely before we go and put another layer of something on top! (This can affect the durability and use of the product) I use the original balm every night just before bed and if I have used very little lip product throughout the day, when been out in the cold I may apply a small amount just to keep a barrier from the harsh weather.
You’ve got a friend, girlfriend or family member that is vegan or vegetarian and you aren’t sure what you can actually buy them? Or maybe you just didn’t realise that most makeup brands aren’t vegan/ cruelty-free friendly. In this post, I hope to help and perhaps educate you.
