Robyn and I love nothing more than to go exploring, our kind of holiday is walking our feet off. Therefore we need good walking boots. My aim is to invest in a great pair this year but for now, I am showing you how I wore my cheap walking boots on our trip up to North Wales.
I got these great walking boots from Primark can you believe it? They are not supposed to be walking boots, but they are waterproof, very comfortable and a have a padded sole and thick rubber heel. Great for me who has a habit of wearing her heels down extremely fast!
I need and want to invest in a great pair of walking boots this year, but I spotted these in Primark and thought I’d give them a try for only £12. If I could find outfits to pair with them and found them comfortable then a pair to invest in was a yes.
So far, so good, I paired them with every single outfit that we went exploring on, on our trip to North Wales. We visited castles, beaches and villages. My feet didn’t hurt once, they just got a bit warm in the lovely sunshine we had.
I paired the boots with my favourite black skinny high waisted jeans, grey printed tee, denim jacket which had my pins on it but my blue dip dyed hair is covering. I also wore my favourite black baker boy hat which you can see I also styled here. Oh and you can’t forget those pink socks, I have only just realised that everything but the hat is from Primark. So this really is an outfit on a budget. It kept me warm and cool and when it got colder with the wind I just placed a thick cardi underneath the denim jacket for another layer.
