There’s a tonne of these on the internet, I’m sure you’ve seen from blog posts to YouTube GRWM routines. I like to read and watch these, not necessarily to see the products they are using, as they might not work for my skin. But to find different routines, and see if perhaps I am missing out let’s say cleansing for example and perhaps should give it a go.
I personally love a routine, if I don’t get a routine in place,I will easily forget to do something, and in turn never get around to doing it again.
This post is purely high Street products and quite cheap ones at that!
First, I start off with washing my face with Garnier spot control, oil free face wash. This just makes my skin feel a bit more awake and clean. Next and I have only recently started using this in the last month, is a serum and I have noticed a dramatic difference my skin seems a lot ‘plumper’ and alive.
Once that had sunk in, I use two pea sized amounts of moisturiser, this is the longest part to sink into my skin and it will let me know if I have too much on, as I will look very shiny so I just blot that off with a tissue. I have got into the habit of using moisturiser daily, but not the serum daily, as I do not want my face to get reliant on the use of it.
Next, I use a small amount of the simple brightening eye cream under my eyes and over my lids. This is the only cream I have found not to sting my sensitive under eye skin. You have to be kind to under your eyes as they are the thinner skin part of your face.
Finally, I finish off my skin regime with a layer of Nivea Vaseline Lippy.
I let this all sink in for about 5/10 minutes before I put my makeup on.
Do you have a post on your Skincare regime? I’d love a read if you have.
