Hey, so it’s 2015 and I know quite a few people like to redecorate this time of year.
I also have to redecorate too, my old bedroom! Unfortunatly I’m moving back to my mums in the new year till I find a place just right for me.
Until then I have to share a room with my 18yr old younger sister, who lets put this politely has let the room get in such a state!
But that’s another story entirely, So getting on with this post, I have to redecorate it entirely whilst trying to fit my whole house into one half of a bedroom! (insanely difficult isn’t the word!).

I’ve been spending a lot of time on Pintrest and watching Room Tour’s on Youtube for inspo.
So I thought I’d share with you my findings and maybe inspire you to change your room up a little?

If you want to see a before and after of how I transform the room from a dark boxed and bagged up room to (hopefully, even my toes crossed) white clean cut space for me to blog, sleep, dress and love my cutie cats. Leave me a comment below to let me know 🙂
This is the girls room who I’ve taken major inspo from, she has created a ‘diy fairy light backdrop’ to cover her diy closet behind.

I love how even though this room is really dark, it looks so warm and light at the same time if you get me?

I’m not a huge fan of feather dream catchers but I absolutely love the idea of this one, plan is to find as many trinkets (take apart old necklaces) and create one of these to put over my desk or in my big window.

Dividers will play a big part in my new bedroom, that way I can see easily if my sneaky sis has ‘borrowed’ anything again….

You can get these from Ikea in the ‘Ribba’ range I believe, they are picture ledges but I plan on using some for nail varnish storage!

I love the tidiness of the shoes on the wall, only down side is you have to make sure they are clean before hanging back up!

This room looks so cosy,  this would be a great idea if I could find a shelf and wall sturdy enough to hold some clothes on a rail.

There may be a few more interior design posts up over the next few weeks as I have always been into re-designing a room. So make sure to follow me to get notifications of them.
